Jonathan founded Winter People in 2002, and takes an active role in the delivery of our services. With an early career focused on resourcing, Jonathan has diversified over his twenty years in people management, and now particularly enjoys Winter People’s involvement in mediation and leadership team development.

Anna Carabine, Business Development Director and Senior Consultant.

Anna has worked in Human Resources roles across a range of industries and cultures. Her considerable experience in North America has been particularly relevant in her role with Winter People. Anna’s main interests lie in helping organisations move to best practice HR operations, ensuring clear, compliant policy and effective line management of the workforce. Anna’s HR CV is especially strong in media, property and high tech organisations.

Julia Cater, Consultant (MCIPD)

Julia has benefited from a wide variety of experiences through work in generalist HR Management, large volume recruitment, learning and development and management development.  She has also experienced a range of organisations from investment banking to government agencies and charities. This has included considerable time based overseas.  Winter People enjoys her expertise providing selection, development and coaching solutions supported by the use of psychometric and assessment tools.

Valerie Rowles, International Career Management Consultant

Specialising in career coaching, outplacement and professional development training, Valerie works across all business sectors. Fluency in European languages enables her to engage with our global clients in a range of career management, work-based learning and educational research projects.

 Malcolm McEwan, Legal Counsel (Barrister at Law)

Malcolm is our expert in this arena, helping ensure that Winter People activities follow all legal requirements, and enabling us to provide best advice to our clients. With over 30 years experience as a barrister, Malcolm has an outstanding reputation, and is invaluable to us in delivering our services with certainty of compliance.  

Catherine Bentley, Consultant (MCIPD)

Catherine’s extensive experience of assessment techniques is predominantly used by Winter People to support resourcing, development and organisation change activities. Catherine enjoys supporting organisations in matching individuals to roles which harness their strengths and ultimately improve business performance. Whatever context she is operating in, Catherine strives to deliver pragmatic, cost effective HR solutions driven by an in-depth understanding of the client's requirements.
